PCWA’s Business Center lobby and front parking lot will be closed from October 31, 2025, through January 2026 for campus construction improvements. Customer Services will be relocated to the Drinking Water Operations Building at 185 Ferguson Road during this time.

Spaulding Repairs Complete: Water Deliveries to Resume

Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) has completed ongoing infrastructure repairs at Lake Spaulding Powerhouse No. 1 and resumed water releases into the Drum Canal system. As a result, PCWA is preparing to restore full water deliveries to the affected untreated water customers.

The SNC, PCWA, TNC, and MCWRA co-sponsor legislative forest-health tour in American River watershed
On Monday, Oct. 13, the Sierra Nevada Conservancy (SNC), Placer County Water Agency (PCWA), The Nature Conservancy (TNC), and Mountain Counties Water Resources Association (MCWRA) co-sponsored the Forests to Faucets Field Tour for state policymakers, staff, and government officials to experience the inextricable connection between forest health and the state’s water supply along the Middle Fork American River watershed in Placer County.

PCWA & SPMUD Partner on $2.4 Million Newcastle Pipeline Project; Board Highlights Other Key Actions
PCWA and the South Placer Municipal Utility District (SPMUD) are partnering on a $2.4 million project to replace aging water and sewer mains along Old State Highway in Newcastle. The work will install more than 3,300 feet of new pipeline, replace customer service connections and sewer laterals, add fire hydrants, and resurface the roadway.
